Anything Cheaper Than The Stewmac Guitar Shipping System. Most of the tools in places like homedepot are just junk, but most people aren’t willing to pay for the real stuff. Their shipping is $12 regardless tho.
Second time i have ordered stuff through stewmac and the delivery times are crazy. In retrospect, the $38 + shipping that stewmac charges for their equivalent tool would have been worth it to me. I live in new zealand so it's obviously international delivery for me.
The shipping seems high, but i've done the math more than once, and iv. First order took 6 weeks, from order sent to order delivered, that was about 18 months ago, and cost me $16us delivery for a wiring kit. This kit is a good way to get a fairly good body and guitar neck for not much money.

Then, when enough have accumulated to fill a crate or truck or whatever, the whole batch is shipped up to canada. I've looked at products on amazon such as fret rockers and action gauges and they are considerably cheaper than offerings from stewmac. That said, my experience with stewmac guitar kits is pretty positive.
Stewmac also sells an inventive electric guitar shipping system and acoustic guitar shipping system you might want to consider. I live in new zealand so it's obviously international delivery for me. If the order is over $300, you can pay as low as 5% for shipping.
